Nyamira County Governor John Obiero Nyagarama has died.
The second term Governor died on Friday morning at Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted for three weeks.
Nyagarama, aged 74, succumbed to COVID-19 complications at around 4 am on Friday.
He was a member of the Orange Democratic Movement party.
