Police in Taita sub-county has opened a probe following the gruesome murder of a retired Administration police (AP) officer.
The body of Herman Mwashigadi was found in a bush in Kishushe area with his hands and feet bound and had cut marks on his head.
DCI officers have said there is a possibility that the former AP was abducted from a bar before he was killed.
DCI says that the cause of his death is yet to be established.
Taita Sub-County Police Commander Daniel Mukumbu said before his death, Mwashighadi had been seen in bars with friends.
