Governors want the state to reinstate the 9 pm curfew that was lifted in September following the coronavirus pandemic.

This they say will stem the second wave of the virus that is spreading rapidly to counties.

Led by the council of Governors chairman Wycliffe Oparanya, they said they fear for the lives of the people in the counties.

Oparanya wants the curfew to begin at 9 pm up to 4amm for a period of one month.

” The nationwide curfew in force be varied from 11 pm to 9 pm for at least one month until the curve completely flattens”, he said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to address the nation on Wednesday.
