Tononoka Secondary School principal dies of COVID-19

Tononoka Secondary School Principal Mohammed Khamis has succumbed to COVID-19 just days after infections were reported among staff.

Learning was suspended in the school last week after 11 teachers tested positive for the disease.

The death of the Principal was confirmed by the school’s Deputy Principal.

Two other schools in the County, Mama Ngina Girls and Star of the Sea High School, were shut down following the contraction of COVID-19 by teachers.
