Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has issued a certificate of nomination to Sheikh Abdulrahman as duly nominated candidate for Msambweni Member of Parliament.
Addressing journalist at Wiper headquarters in Nairobi on Tuesday, Kalonzo praised Abdulrahman saying he is the right man for Msambweni people.
“We will campaign for our candidate who comes from the county where our party chair Ali Chirau Makwere comes from in Kwale,” said Kalonzo.
Speaking to Baraka FM, Abdulrahman assured to boost tourism sector in Msambweni as well as make Ukunda region an epicenter for tourism after Mombasa.
The seat fell vacant after Msambweni Member of Parliament Suleiman Dori died at the Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa at the age of 42 in March this year.
