A man selling fruits in Ganjoni area within Mombasa County died after he developed breathing difficulties.
According to Urban police station OCPD Eliud Monare, the deceased collapsed and died on the spot.
“We were informed on Saturday morning that a man died after collapsing in Ganjoni area,” said Monare.
The deceased body was collected from the scene by Mombasa County health officials and taken to Coast general morgue awaiting autopsy.
Police have launched investigations to establish the cause of the death.
