Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has launched, The Service Party of Kenya (TSP).

Kiunjuri said the launch of the party is in readiness for 2022 general election.

He indicated that formation of such parties is applied universally either to the form government or to influence government decision making.

”I promised in January that I’d be back. I thank God for enabling me to keep this promise,” Kiunjuri said.

As The Service Party we come full of hope in the belief that service to our people will redefine Kenya’s politics. Twaamini impactful politics is not a reserve of the big parties,” he added.

The former CS said the Party will be a grass-root party for common Mwananchi based on service delivery to Kenyans.

He warned that there is need to cool political temperatures in the country which is affecting service delivery.

He called on leaders to begin focusing on issues affecting Kenyans especially poverty, lack of employment, poor access to basics including water, food and health.

“We believe that service to humanity is service to God. We shall strive to honor this. Thank you Kenyans,” he said.

He pointed that the party is ready for the long haul in giving Kenyans an alternative away from mainstream political parties. He added that come 2022 he will not vie for gubernatorial seat pointing that the party has a leeway for those who will vie for, Senatorial, MPs, Gubernatorial and MCAS positions. A
