In a bizarre turn out of events, a Tharaka Nithi man has allegedly sealed his wife’s private parts with glue before running off.
The victim reported to the police that the husband returned home from Nairobi and proposed to have a relocation to avoid being arrested for leaving restricted Nairobi Metropolitan area which is under lockdown due to COVID- 19 pandemic.
Tharaka South Police Commander Kiprop Rutto, said that the two left but upon reaching Kathita River the man accused the wife of infidelity demanding to know her body count before forcing her to strip naked while issuing death threats to her if she did not heed to her commands.
“She hesitated and he started beating her while threatening to kill her with a knife he was holding. Finally, she removed her clothes and the suspect sprayed pepper, salt, and super glue on her vagina while using the knife to push it inside,” the police said in the statement.
It is reported that the man also sealed her ears and mouth with super glue and sand before leaving her at the scene.
Police have now launched hunt on the man who is still at large as the woman is admitted at the hospital receiving treatment.
