Ferry services at Likoni channel will now be available during daytime only following a curfew ordered by president Uhuru Kenyatta over coronavirus pandemic.
Coast regional commissioner John Elung’ata said ferries will now operate from 5:30 am to 6 pm.
He said three vessels have been set aside for passengers and one for vehicles.
Elung’ata also banned hawking along the channel.
The dawn to dusk curfew ordered by president Kenyatta on Wednesday will take effect on Friday.
