Kiragu further said that probably the families were not aware that their kin had been killed in the Thursday incident.

“We suspect the families of the deceased have not realized that their kin is dead, I call upon members of the public whose kin are missing to check with the police stations, “said Kirago.

Police shot dead two gang members as members of the public lynched the three other suspects.

The five were in a group of about  20 suspected Wakali Kwanza gang members who attacked members of the public last month as a revenge for the death of  Abdallah alias ‘DulaDula’ another suspected Wakali Kwanza gang member.

According to police the gang member hacked and seriously injured 10 members of the public after the burial of Dula Dula who was lynched by a  mob for allegedly breaking into a house in Junda and stealing electronics.
