The wife to former Mp and Assistant minister Hon.Ramadhan Kajembe has died.
Mrs. Zaharia Kajembe died early Tuesday at Aga Khan hospital in Mombasa.
Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho confirmed the death of Mama Zaharia on his facebook post.
In his message of condolence, Joho praised Mama Zaharia as woman who dedicated her life to serving the community.
“The deceased was well known through out Mombasa County and beyond for her fortitude in serving the community especially the less fortunate”, he said.
Jomvu Mp Badi Twalib who is a son in law to Hon.Kajembe, also passed his condolences to the bereaved terming the late as a champion of democracy.
” Mama Zaharia shall be remembered for her relentless championing for democracy and women empowerment in Jomvu and changamwe at large”, said Badi.
She will be buried Tuesday evening according to islamic customs.
