A man has been arrested trafficking 100 rolls of bhang at the Likoni ferry crossing channel.

Mohammed Kassim, 30, had stashed the rolls of bhang in sawdust in a 50Kg gunny bag on Monday morning.

He was arrested at the Island X-ray machine crossing to South Coast.

Likoni Sub County police boss Jane Munywoki said that the suspect was arrested at the screening bay and is being held at Ferry police station.

In 2018, a man was sentenced to life imprisonment after he was arrested at Likoni ferry screening bay with 155 rolls of bhang.
