The high court in Nairobi has suspended flights from Coronavirus struck China for 10 days after a China Southern Airlines flight landed in Kenya with 239 passengers on board on Wednesday.

This is after the Law Society of Kenya went to court suing the government over its decision to allow the resumption of China Southern flights from Guangzhou to China.

When issuing the order Justice James Makau has also ordered the state to prepare a plan on prevention, surveillance and response systems to curb a possible coronavirus outbreak in the country.
