Police arrest two more suspects in Kayole woman murder

Police have arrested two more suspected in connection with the murder of a Kayole woman suspected to have been killed by her husband last week.

The two; Wilson Mukhwana Wawire  a Lab Technologist and Nicholas Otieno Onyango, brother-in-law to the deceased, were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to kill Priscilla Cherono.

Priscilla was killed inside a rented house in Kioi area within Soweto in Kayole, where she lived with her husband, Washington Ochieng Onyango, and his brother.

In an affidavit filed before Makadara law courts, Detective corporal Nicho;as Gikundi of Kayole Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices said Wawire traveled from Kaloleni to the deceased house to administer first aid “and for reasons well known to him failed to report the matter to the police.”

Senior Principal Magistrate Angelo Kithinji allowed police to hold the two for seven days and present them before court on Monday 17th February, 2020.

The husband to the deceased, Washington Otieno Onyango, who was arrested last week, will also be held by the police till Monday as they conclude investigations.
