Former President Daniel arap Moi will be buried next week on Wednesday, February 12 at his Kabarak home, Nakuru County.
Moi will be accorded a state burial following his demise on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
A public funeral service will be held on Tuesday at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi County where Kenyans from all walks of life will get an opportunity to view his body and also bid him goodbye.
In a statement read by his son, Raymond, his father’s burial planning would be a military affair as per President Kenyatta’s directive.
Currently all flags of the Republic of Kenya are being flown at half mast as a sign of mourning Mzee Moi.
