The impeachment motion had been brought forward the Jomvu Kuu Member of County Assembly Athman Shebe.
The special committee composed of MCA’s Faith Boniface( Kipevu) Athman Mwamiri( Likoni),Ali Omar Shariff(Tononoka) Fadhili Mwalimu( Port Reitz) and Milka Moraa ( Nominated ) .
“I was given a chance to explain myself and the county assembly found me innocent on all the allegations against me. The county assembly of #Mombasa has played their role of oversight as required by law. Prior to his impeachment, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho had termed the impeachment motion against Balala as baseless when he appeared before the Senate committee on devolution.
