Gor Mahia has qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals after beating Angola’s Petro de Luanda 1-0 at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday night.

K,OgalLo won the match through a penalty which was scored by Jacques Tuyisenge in the 12th minute

Gor had to play half the game without their coach Hassan Oktay,  and nine players in the field after defensive midfielder Ernest Wendo and left back Shafik Batambuze, were all shown red cards by Moroccan referee Redouane Jiyed.

K’Ogalo became the first club in the history of Kenyan football to reach the last eight of the CAF competition.

However, it is not yet clear if the club will be fined by CAF.

This is after their fans thronged into the field after the match was over which is against the CAF rules.
