Malindi man charged with biting policeman’s finger

Kilifi, KENYA: A 30 year old man has been arraigned in Malindi court for attacking a police officer and biting his finger.

Samson Iha is also facing two other charges of resisting arrest and getting money by false pretense.

The court was told that Iha attacked the officer Humphrey Kosgey when officers went to arrest him for allegedly conning Sera Nyambu a sum of sh.20,000 in Kijiwetanga, Malindi.

Iha had allegedly claimed he was going to sell a parcel of land to Nyambu.

Malindi Chief Magistrate Julie Oseko released the suspect on sh.100,000 bond after he denied the charges.

The case will be mentioned on 15th April 2019.
