Former Tanzanian defense minister Juma Athumani Kapuya over the weekend tied the knot with his girlfriend 25-year-old Mwajuma Mwiniko.
Kapuya, 75 tied the knot in a ceremony held in Tabora province on Sunday.
Kapuya who was also the MP for Urambo West on a CCM party ticket once served as the Minister for labor and youth development.
According to a video published by Tanzanian media, the controversial politician is seen unveiling his young wife who was donning a sky blue gown.
However, this is not the first time the Tanzanian legislator is being linked to an affair with a younger woman.
In 2013, a section of Tanzania media reported that a 16-year-old girl opened a case at Oyster Bay police station in Dares Salaam accusing the politician of defiling her.
However a few days later, the politician through his lawyer denied the allegations and accused the media houses that published those reports of defamation.
