Kwale, KENYA: Police in Kwale County have arrested a man accused of defiling and impregnating a 15-year-old girl.
The 58-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Musihi Musya is set to be arraigned in Kwale law courts on charges of child defilement.
The suspect is alleged to have defiled the minor on several instances before making her pregnant.

Matuga OCPD Joel Chesire confirmed the incident saying that police have been in hot pursuit of the suspect who was arrested on Tuesday.
“The girl was defiled on several occasions since last year and the case was brought to our attention on January 28. We managed to apprehend the suspect,” he said.
The girl who is a class six pupil at Lukore Primary School in Matuga Sub-County is said to have been lured by the suspect with goodies every time she had sex with her at their home in Lukore.
The police boss urged parents not to hesitate to report defilement cases for quick action to be taken by the relevant authorities.
“Parents have left such culprits to go free for reasons known to them. We appeal to the general public to cooperate and save the girl child since some of these teenage pregnancies can be reduced whenever a defilement case is reported,” he added.
