Kilifi,KENYA: A 60-year-old man was on Tuesday killed after he was attacked by a hippo at Bate area in Magarini, Kilifi County.
The deceased Charo Kilulu Kombo was attacked by the hippo when he left his house to check on his cattle.
The hippo is believed to have come from river Sabaki approximately a kilometer from the deceased home.

Confirming the incident, Magarini police chief Gerald Barasa said the body of the man was moved to Malindi County Hospital mortuary.
