Kilifi,KENYA: Three people died on Sunday in a road accident involving two vehicles at kijipiwa in Kilifi County.
The accident involved a personal car that was heading to Mombasa and the other towards Kilifi.
According to Mtwapa OCPD Joseph Nguuri the accident occurred when the vehicle heading to Mombasa tried to overtake another before colliding head on with an oncoming vehicle.
Nguuri said two people died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.
