Kenyan born Rwandan model Alexia Uwera Mupende has passed on after allegedly being stabbed by her house maid.
The incident took place on Tuesday night at her father’s house in Nyarugunga sector, Kicukiro District in Rwanda.
Rwanda Investigative Bureau spokesperson Modesta Mbabazi confirmed the incident stating investigations were ongoing but could not release further details.
Police are looking for the 23 year old house help whose whereabouts are still unknown.
35 years old Uwera was the general manager of Waka Fitness in Kigali, Rwanda and was set to walk down the aisle in February, having already sent out wedding invitations to friends and family.
Alexia Uwera will be remembered for showcasing Rwanda’s clothing brands on the international scene and entertaining of audience by Mashirika Performing Arts Group which she was part of.
