Mombasa, KENYA: Three people were on Sunday night killed after being attacked by robbers in Kisauni area within Mombasa.
Speaking to Baraka Fm on phone, Kisauni OCPD Sangura Musee said that the deceased were among seven people attacked by armed robbers, who were trying to steal from an M-pesa shop in Zimalati area in Kisauni.
“Three died due to bleeding following the attack and other four people are receiving treatment at Coast General Hospital,” said Musee.
According to Police the seven were attacked by three masked robbers armed with pangas some minutes past 9pm.
Musee also confirmed that the suspects did not manage to steal from the M-pesa shop.
