Nakuru, KENYA: Chief Justice David Maraga and wife Yucabeth Nyaboke were on Saturday morning rushed to the War Memorial hospital in Nakuru after they were involved in a road accident.
It is alleged that Maraga and his wife were on their way to church from home along Nakuru- Eldoret high way when the accident occurred.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed KDF to evacuate the CJ and his wife to Nairobi.
Their vehicle was allegedly hit by a personal vehicle.
Both are said to be in a stable condition.
The accident left the car’s bonnet and front bumper badly damaged and the impact forced the airbags to deploy.
