Deputy President William Ruto updated his twitter username after achieving a doctorate degree from the University of Nairobi.
The DP graduated with a post graduate doctoral degree (PhD) in plant ecology on Friday and hours later changed his twitter username to reflect his new title.

The Deputy President will now be found on twitter with the username William Samoei Ruto,PhD.
His twitter handle however remains the same.
