Bandari FC to train in Zanzibar

Mombasa. KENYA: Kenyan Premier League club Bandari FC will leave the country on Friday for Zanzibar where they will pitch for a four-day training camp.

Bandari who finished runners-up last season will use the chance handed to them by their sponsors Kenya Ports Authority to prepare for the new season slated for December 8.

According to Bandari’s chief Executive officer Edward Oduor, the club will play two friendly matches while in Zanzibar.

Head coach Bernard Mwalala confirmed that all of his players are fit to travel and no injury has been reported so far.

“I’m confident we will utilize the four days well and follow our training program in build to the upcoming season, we are targeting a better finish than our second place last season,” he said.

Bandari opens their new season campaign on 8th of December at home against champions Gor Mahia.
