Arsenal unveils new kit deal with adidas


London, ENGLAND: English Premier League club Arsenal on Monday signed a five-year kit deal with a German sportswear firm Adidas worth 300m pounds.

The Gunners’ new deal come as their contract with Puma is set to end this season. They last wore three striped Adidas kits between 1986-1994 when they last lift two top flight league titles.

Puma also is set to become the kit suppliers for the Premier League reigning champions Manchester City in a deal worth 50m pound a year starting 2019-2020 season.

Arsenal joins Barcelona and Manchester United as the third club to sign a lucrative deal that will cost them 60m pounds per year.

Barcelona contract with Nike and Manchester United’s with Adidas are worth 140m pounds and 75m a year respectively.
