President Kenyatta to officially open Nairobi International Trade Fair on Thursday

Nairobi, KENYA: President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to officially open the Nairobi international trade fair on Thursday.

The president will launch the fair which has been running from Monday, at Jamhuri grounds, and is expected to end Sunday.

The fair has been an avenue for various firms and companies including Baraka Fm to show case their products and services.

On Wednesday Nairobi county governor graced the international fair setting the pace for the head of state’s launch on Thursday .

On the other hand, the county government of Nairobi has warned bars to desist from selling liqour to students within the precincts of the fair.

The government indicated that those who will defy the order will face the full force of the law and their licences revoked.

The theme for this year’s trade fair, which will end on October 7, is ‘Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’.
