Nairobi. KENYA: The Kenyan women premier league is set to resume this weekend after three months of break.
Football Kenya Federation FKF has confirmed that the money issue that led to the long break has been sorted and that the 16 participating clubs will receive Sh.750,000 each.
According the rescheduled fixtures, five matches will be played on Saturday where Soccer Queens will host Vihiga Leeds at Gikambura Grounds.
Elsewhere, Spedag will travel to Mumias complex to face hosts Wadadia as league leaders Thika Queens and Kayole Starlets lock horns at Thika stadium.
Gaspo women will welcome Trans Nzoia Falcons while Mombasa Falcons will visit Naivasha to battle Oserian Ladies.
Sunday fixtures will see Kisumu All Starlets tackle Makolanders as Mathare United ladies tussle Vihiga Leeds at Barclays sports club.
Relegation-threatened Baringo Ladies will have a rough time as they welcome second-placed Vihiga Queens while Eldoret Falcon will be up against Spedag.
