Police accused of killing three teenagers in Mombasa

Mombasa, KENYA: Police have been accused of killing three teenagers in Utange area, Kisauni in Mombasa County.

According to Kaingu Kitsao, brother to one of the deceased, the three were businessmen selling second hand cloths in Utange area.

Juma Kitsao, 18, Ken Rambo, 17, and Bilal Sudi, 15, were allegedly shot dead by police officers on Wednesday at 7pm.

The bodies of the deceased are lying at coast general hospital awaiting postmortem.

An officer from Human rights organization MUHURI, Francis Auma, has accused police officers in Mombasa for killing youths.

He alleged that 56 youths have been killed by police in Mombasa within the past eight months.

By the time of publication, police had not issued any statement over the murder.
