
Mombasa,KENYA:Several flights have been diverted to Moi International Airport in Mombasa and other airports around the country after a heavy fog disrupted operations at JKIA on Thursday morning.

Passengers who were to travel from the country through JKIA also had to wait till the fog clears before take-off.

Kenya Airways, on their twitter handle, said that they had diverted their flights to other airports following the fog which affected visibility.
OPERATIONS UPDATE: Good morning, we are experiencing flight disruptions at JKIA due to poor visibility caused by fog. Several flights are being diverted to alternative airports as we monitor the situation.

They further apologized to the passengers for any inconvenience caused.
