Mombasa,KENYA:A suspect was shot dead by police after he was allegedly caught in the act robbing residents in Kisauni,Mombasa.
Kisauni OCPD Sangura Musee said the suspect was shot dead while attempting to attack a Police officer with a machete.
‘We have not identified the deceased but the body has been taken to Coast General Mortuary for postmortem’Said Musee.
Musee said the a police officer on patrol found the suspect trying to steal before opening fire killing him instantly.
According to the witness the deceased had just been released from prison two weeks ago for robbery charges before he was killed on Wednesday morning.
