Mombasa, KENYA: Bernard Mwalala is set to be appointed the new Bandari FC head coach barely a day after quitting Premier League rivals Nzoia Sugar.

According to a whisper at the Dockers, Mwalala has agreed on personal terms with Bandari management to become their new tactician to replace Kennedy Odhiambo who resigned on Sunday.

Mwalala parted ways with Nzoia Sugar on Monday ending his three years services at the Millers where he left a mark as the coach who guided the club to earn a top-tier promotion.

Bandari sits fifth in the table standings with 32 points while Nzoia Sugar is 10th having collected 27 points from 20 matches, one less than the former.
