Two men charged with breaking and stealing valuable goods in Mombasa

Mombasa, KENYA: Two men were charged in Mombasa Court on Wednesday for allegedly breaking into a house and stealing valuable goods.

The court directed one suspect who claimed to be a minor be taken to Coast General hospital for age assessment after they pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The suspects are alleged to break into a house of Rabia Salim in Ushindi area in Likoni on 20th June and stole goods of unknown value.

Court heard that the suspects aged 16 and 20 broke into the house and stole a tv set, a radio and an iron box.

They are also alleged of being in possession of a stolen golden watch.

They pleaded not guilty to all charges before Mombasa Chief Magistrate Julius Nang’ea
