Fans receive lots of prizes as Day 1 Baraka FM-KEMRI road show kicks off

Mombasa, KENYA: Baraka FM team in partnership with Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) three days road show promoting the Jukwaa la Utafiti program on Thursday kicked off in Mombasa County.

The roadshow is aimed at creating media awareness and educates the general public on medical research and health-related issues that will be highlighted on the Jukwaa La Utafiti program on Chanja Maswala hosted by Sammy Mwaura every Thursdays 7-9pm.

The convoy on Thursday passed through the areas of Bamburi, Bombolulu, VOK, Kisimani and Shanzu.

The roadshow was graced by Baraka FM presenters: Sammy Mwaura, Lucas Mwangemi, Mbeyu Mwatata among other radio presenters.

The roadshow saw various fans receive lots of gifts-give-away and entertainment from Comedian Kokoro and Emcee Juma Mdoe.

Also, musician’ Kelechi Africana charged up the crowd with his electric performance during the roadshow.

On Friday,  the convoy will go through Mtwapa, Kikambala, Takaungu, Kilifi, Matsangoni, Gede, Watamu and Malindi in the remaining two days campaign raising awareness on the Jukwaa La Utafiti program.
