Mombasa,KENYA: A snake almost disrupted a court session at Mombasa court on Thursday.
The black mamba snake was spotted coiling on top of a courtroom door while proceedings were on creating panic among the people in courtroom.
Senior Resident magistrate Martin Rabera was at the time presiding over a case when the snake was spotted.
Some court participants almost jumped out of their seats in fear as while overheard linking the bizarre incident to witchcraft.
According to them, the snake measuring about 30 inches long, had been ‘sent’ to scare the magistrate while to others claimed a man had mysteriously turned himself into a snake to disrupt the proceedings.
However the snake did not deter a calm Rabera who proceeded with the hearing until the end.
Nobody was harmed in the incident as court orderlies later killed the snake.
