Mombasa, KENYA: A Mombasa court on Tuesday issued sermons to two Kenya Navy officers to appear in Court.
Two officers from Mtongwe navy barracks are alleged to have received sh.200,000 from Mary Mwende promising to help in the recruitment of her son into the Kenya Defence Force.
Mombasa Chief Magistrate Julius Nang’ea directed the prosecution to serve sermons to Mr.Francis Mwake and Musungu Makokha to appear in court for defrauding charges.
It is alleged that two navy officers defrauded Mrs.Mwende between June and September 2016.
Mr.Nang’ea directed County Criminal Investigation office to serve the sermons through the commander at Kenya Navy Mtongwe barracks.
The case will be mentioned on 20th June to confirm service of the sermons.
