New women reality show Ms. President launched in Nairobi

Nairobi, KENYA: Media Focus on Africa has launched a campaign reality Tv show which will permit women to showcase their leadership skills.

The show dubbed Ms President is an avenue for the Kenyan women aged between 20 to 70 years who are eligible to apply to see them go through rigorous interviews during the interviews.

Speaking during the launch of Media focus on Africa programme Executive officer Gikunda Mburugu said that women who are eligible to apply must be those ones who have completed the secondary course.

Muhuri CEO Hassan Abdille said that his organization will mobilize women from Kwale, Mombasa and Kilifi counties to apply as part of women empowerment in the coastal region.

The applicants in the coastal region are required to drop their applications in the Muhuri offices in the three counties.

Speaking during the launch on Thursday, European Union ambassador in the country Teffano Antonio said that there is a need for the women to be empowered in a bid to enhance development in the country.

Those ones who will emerge as winners will apply their leadership skills in Civil society, the political arena
Or in their careers by championing women empowerment initiatives across the country.
