Garissa,KENYA:5 police officers have reportedly been killed in an IED attack in Liboi area near the Somalia border in Garissa county.
According to the Dadaab deputy county commissioner three more police officers had been injured in the early Wednesday morning incident.
The officers were headed to Liboi from their camp when their vehicle ran over an IED .
More officers were deployed to the area to pursue Alshabaab militants who are suspected to have orchestrated the attack.
