Two men charged with possession of python skin

Mombasa,KENYA: Two men have been charged at a court in Mombasa for allegedly being in possession of an animal trophy.

The court heard that the two, Samuel Karisa  James and Amani Ngala were found in possession of a python snakeskin estimated to have a street value of sh 100,000  on 1st   June 2018 at Mama Ngina grounds without a permit.

The duo denied the charges before Senior principal magistrate, Henry Nyakweba who ordered them to be released on a bond of sh. 100,000 or  sh 50,000 cash bail

The case is set for hearing on 18th June.
