Speculation as Gideon Moi visits Joho days after Ruto met Kingi

Mombasa,KENYA:Speculation is rife after Kanu national chairman Gideon Moi flew to Mombasa to meet governor Ali Hassan Joho .

The meeting comes few days after Deputy President William Ruto met with Kilifi governor Amason Kingi in Mombasa and later toured Kilifi and Tana River Counties.

Moi said that he only traveled all the way from Baringo County to come and meet Joho.

Two leaders said the main reason of their meeting was to ‘build a bridge’.

“Senator Moi has come forward to engage us on how possibly we can work together on uniting the country and in that spirit we have also discussed on the matter of inclusivity,corruption and how to better the life of citizens” said Joho.

Joho said that they have started a journey to unite all the Kenyans.

On the other hand Moi said that Joho was an important person in Kenyan politics and he will work with him to better the life of citizens.

“We have discussed issue affecting Kenyans and were are committed to ensure peace prospers in the country.” said Moi.

The two leaders have  separately announced  their interest for the presidency in 2022.
