London. ENGLAND: Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has been appointed new Derby County manager on a three-year contract.
Lampard, 39, who won three Premier League titles and one Champions League has been a pundit since retiring from active football in February 2017.
His task will be to guide Derby County back to the Premier League after missing out in the just concluded campaign where they finished sixth in the Championship.
Lampard, capped 106 times by England, made 649 appearances for Chelsea and is the club’s record goalscorer.
