Mombasa,KENYA:The Kenya ports Authority managing director Catherine Mturi Wairi has been sent on compulsory leave.
This is according to sources at the port who claim the MD who was appointed to the position in 2016 had failed meet targets like curbing the entry of counterfeit products.
In her place Daniel Manduku an architect and former CEO of the National Construction Authority has been appointed on an acting capacity.
