Kwale, KENYA: Police in Kwale County have launched a manhunt for a suspect believed to have owned an AK 47 that was recovered at Mkwakwani area in Ukunda on Wednesday.
According to Kwale police boss Tom Ode Mboya ,the police accidentally stumbled on the weapon when helping putting off a fire that was burning down a house in the area.
He however said 15 rounds of ammunition and a motorbike were recovered alongside the AK 47.
The firearms and the motor bike are believed to have been used to commit a number of crimes by unknown gangs in Diani.
