Mombasa,KENYA: In a bizzare incident, a man has been admitted at the Coast general hospital (CGH) after allegedly swallowing a toothbrush.
According a relative, David Charo was brushing his teeth on Sunday when suddenly the toothbrush slid from his hand down into his throat.
The incident occured in Paziani village, Ganze in Kilifi county.
Charo is currently at the emergency section at CGH waiting for instructions,according to the unnamed relative.
An X-ray test is said to have shown that the toothbrush in currently in his stomach.
“He is here at Makadara. He was brushing his teeth when the toothbrush slid from his hand and he swalloed it.They have done three x-ray tests on him already but he has not been attended to further”, he told Baraka FM.
However, the patient is said to be in a good condition health wise and that he can even speak.
