Kwale,KENYA:Two people have been shot dead by unknown gang in Kibundani village in Ukunda Msambweni Sub County of Kwale County.
The incident occurred on Tuesday about 8 pm.
One of the deceased has been identified as Kombo Chui Gude who was an Orange Democrative Movement MCA aspirant on the in Ukunda ward and his collegue Nasib Diti.
According to eye witnesses, the two were headed to Ukunda in a van when they were fired at by unknown assailants at Bongwe area.
Msambweni police boss Joseph Chebusit confirmed the incident saying police had launched investigations to dig out the culprits.
The two bodies were taken to Msambweni mortuary for a postmortem.
