Lusaka. ZAMBIA: National women’s soccer team Harambee Starlets humbled hosts Shepolopolo of Zambia 3-0 in an international friendly match played at Kitwe, Zambia on Sunday.
Starlets went to the break leading 1-0 through Mwanahalima Adam before Corazon Aquino scored twice in the second stanza to give Kenya a deserved victory.
The victory is a perfect preparation for Starlets who is set to host Uganda on April 4th in the first leg of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Meanwhile, men’s team Harambee Stars who drew 2-2 with Comoros on Saturday will tackle Central Republic of Africa on Tuesday in another international friendly match.
