Three Tanzanians charged with trafficking heroin worth sh.30 million


Mombasa, KENYA: Three men were on Monday charged in a Mombasa court for allegedly trafficking 10Kg of heroin.

Hussein Massoud,Othmani Hamisi and Mwenda Hamisi of Tanzanian origin, were arrested on Friday at Regency park hotel in Mombasa.

Court heard that the suspects were trafficking narcotic drug namely heroin worth sh.30 Million.

They pleaded not guilty before Mombasa resident magistrate Juliet Kassam.

The prosecution opposed the release of the suspects claiming the exact area where they stay is unknown.

The Court will rule if the accused persons will be released on bond on Tuesday.
