Gor Mahia jets off to Tunisia for CAF Champions League

Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia leaves the country Thursday evening for Tunisia to honor their CAF Champions League return leg fixture against hosts Esperance.

Head coach Dylan Kerr has named his 20-man travelling squad with Ivorian import Ephrem Guikan and January acquisition Kevin Omondi among those omitted.

K’ogalo are hoping to reenact the famous 1987 campaign where they edged Esperance to lift the continental title, then known as Mandela Cup.

This will be possible should they register any kind of victory or a draw of goals having seen off the first leg of the tie ended in a goalless draw.
